Indiana State Police Seek Public’s Help in Hit-and-Run Case Involving Juvenile

Pendleton, IN – The Indiana State Police Pendleton District is seeking public assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a juvenile on a moped.

According to authorities, the incident occurred last night around 11 p.m. near US 35 and Webster Road. The suspect vehicle is described as a black 2014-2016 Hyundai Elantra with front-end damage to the bumper and hood. The juvenile, whose condition has not been disclosed, was struck while riding a moped and sustained injuries requiring medical attention.

Police are urging residents and businesses in the area to review any surveillance footage that may have captured the incident or the suspect vehicle. Anyone with information about the crash or a vehicle matching this description is urged to contact the Indiana State Police at 1-765-778-2121.
